"Teapot" Friends Reunited

Hi Everyone
Things have changed - yet again! - with us down here.

Paul has had a re-think with regard to the open day and, bearing in mind that no doubt many of you will be going down to Sue Blayze's open house this weekend, and the fact that the 3rd May is bank holiday weekend, Paul is planning to postpone this day until later in the month - the exact date to be announced soon!

However, Jenny will be manning the fort on Saturday, the 3rd May, and I will also be about until midday, and we will both be more than happy to see any of you who make it down to sunny old Devon to visit the teapottery before it closes.  Liz will also be about on Sunday for those of you who wish to pop in then. We have still got plenty of goodies here for you all.

Best Wishes
Sharon

Due to the recent news that we will be closing our doors at the end of April, I am in the process of clearing out the factory and all of its contents, and am intent on finding good homes for all of my teapots.

I have listed below a couple of the items that are looking for homes, and I am taking sealed bids on these items as both items are quite rare and not widely available.

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" set
This is a rare set that "Lennox" produced for Disney some years ago, which has now been discontinued.  Each piece has got a different edition number on the bottom, and has been produced with a matt finish with some gold detail on each character.  "Sleepy" has also got some "jewels" in his digging hoard for that day!  This is a beautiful set and bearing in mind that these items have now been discontinued, would be a great collectors find!

"Tin Can" teapot
This teapot is a complete one-off teapot and was one of the very first teapots that I ever made.  It was produced whilst I was working with "Sunshine Ceramics" and went into production but was a very small run.  Even Sue Blayze of "Teapot Island" fame does not have one of these!  I am accepting sealed bids with regard to this teapot, of no less than £1,000, so if you are interested in this teapot, do please send me an e-mail and let me know.

Do keep checking the website to see what other teapots I manage to find!  If you are looking for a certain teapot to complete your collection, do let me know - you never know, that ever elusive teapot may well be hiding in our archive section.

Best wishes
Paul
