Lorna Bailey Joins the Designer Gallery

Cardewclub.com welcome Lorna Bailey to our designer gallery section, with four years worth of teapot images and access to her latest designs.
Lorna got her B.Tec National Diploma in Design (ceramics) at Stoke-on-Trent College. Influenced by a childhood of following her father around to many of the major antique fairs in the midlands, she developed a hands-on feel for work by artists such as Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper, leading to her love of strong colours and unusual design.
While at College Lorna started working in her spare time at the Old Ellgreave Pottery, where gradually more and more sales went to her own designs. Eventually the staff there were producing purely her own work for sale and Collect It! magazine proved how popular her designs were by running an article and Limited Edition that sold within hours of the magazine release.

Similar commisions have come her way and she formed her own website and Collectors Club to satisfy the demand of her rapidly growing fanbase.
Lorna’s gallery at Cardew Club showcases a vast range of designs with a very unique style that is bound to appeal to collectors all over the world, so be sure to visit and take a look at some of the unusual and bold designs she has brought to the teapot collectors genre.
