Retired Teapots

Hi Guys

Me - yet again!

I am letting you know about another teapot that I have found stashed away in the vault.  This is a large “China Market Stall”!

China Market Stall

This teapot was produced in 1993 with a limited editon size of 1000 pieces and was retired in 1997.  In fact, only 866 pieces were ever made so this is one of Paul’s rarer teapots.

This teapot has a “Woodmanton China Company” sign on the top of the market stall and items such as a pair of cat ornaments, china bowls, cups and plates were for sale.  This teapot also has a “sugar bowl” which is the additional piece to go with the teapot.  People were always on the hunt for these because the “sugar bowl” was always the first thing to get broken!

Paul produced various “Market Stall” teapots across the years but this is the only one that I have left in our Vault so it is very good find indeed!

If you are interested in purchasing this teapot, do let me know - sharon@cardewdesign.com.

Will catch up again next week.

Sharon
