Blueberry-Lemon Iced Tea
Would you like to cool down with a delicious blueberry-lemon iced tea? Here’s the recipe:
Serves: 5 cups
1 16-ounce package frozen blueberries
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
4 cups water
3 family-size tea bags
3/4 cup sugar
Bring frozen blueberries and lemon juice to a boil in a large saucepan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a bowl. Wipe saucepan clean.
Bring water to a boil in same saucepan; add tea bags and let stand 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar and blueberry juice mixture. Pour into a pitcher; cover and chill one hour. Serve over ice.
