Paul Cardew and his “Sunshine” Pigs
For those of you who know and love Paul Cardew, you will know that many years ago (when he was young and had more hair!) he produced the original version of the highly collectable Nat West Piggy family.
This was back in December 1982, when Paul was known as “Sunshine Ceramics” and was based in a small unit in Exmouth. As the demand and popularity of the “Piggies” increased, the production was moved from “Sunshine Ceramics” and was subsequently taken over by Wade Ceramics, who remodelled the original design to suit their manufacture.
This year is the 25th Anniversary of Paul’s first production of the original designs of the Nat West Pigs. These have never been made available to the public.
Paul is therefore producing a anniversary set of this well known family - along with a long lost family member. This family is being produced at Paul’s factory in Bovey Tracey, Devon from the original moulds and there will only be 2500 limited edition sets being made. These sets are numbered and will have a certificate of authenticity.
These limited edition sets are limited to 1 set per customer and these soon to be highly collectable items cost only
£199.95
(which includes postage and packing)
For those of you who wish to order one of these sets for your siblings as future collectable items, contact us on 01626 832172 ext 235
